Leave a Legacy
Much of the work we do here at CCLP doesn’t happen overnight. Working to change and update policies, programs and laws takes time and long-term strategy. In most cases, we believe social change and advocacy is a marathon, not a sprint. So having a strong, robust planned giving program is not only important to our organization’s sustainability, but it’s important to the social change we want to make for future generations of Coloradans.
We invite you to join us in this work by considering making our organization part of your legacy. We know family and friends come first, but not far after that is your community. Colorado is a great place to live and work, and ensuring justice and economic security for all is something we just can’t take for granted. There are many ways to include CCLP in your estate plan that will guarantee the work goes on for decades to come and reduce your tax liability. Some options include:
- U.S. Savings Bonds (H & E Bonds collect no more interest after June 2010)
- IRAs and deferred compensation
- Real estate / land
- Art and collectibles
- Will / bequests
- Charitable trusts and annuities
- Stock / bonds
