Kesi brings more than a decade of private and nonprofit sector business management, operations and administrative experience. Her responsibilities include office operations and management, bookkeeping, human resources, special-event logistics, administrative assistance, basic IT support and graphic design.
Her nonprofit experience was cultivated from grass-roots and programmatic work with youth and adults in Ohio, New Mexico, and Colorado for a variety of issues ranging from political campaigns and community health education, to environmental and human rights issues. This work grew her expertise in many areas including, but not limited to: policy advocacy, public health education, fundraising and development, and positive youth development. Kesi further enhanced her operations, business management and administrative experience in the private sector excelling in staff motivation and management, sales/marketing development and merchandising, and nationwide operations management.
Kesi’s leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills were developed through administrative and management positions. with Daffy Apple Corp., Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Inc., New Mexico Voices for Children, New Mexico Child Abuse & Neglect Citizens Review Board and the Albuquerque West Side YMCA.
She says she enjoys working with other passionate professionals at CCLP to “influence and change systems to better serve low-income individuals and families” in Colorado.
