Many fear that they or a family or community member will be detained by federal immigration enforcement officers and deported.
Coloradans who are undocumented or who live with someone who is undocumented are less likely to seek essential public services, health insurance and needed health care services. Informed communication efforts that help immigrant individuals and their families know their rights and feel safe applying for coverage and seeking care are critical.
